3. JOB SUMMARY
The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organization’s perspective.
Responsible for reviewing client source control, specification control drawings, and other applicable specifications to determine the requirements of the component and perform Design verification; ensuring the HVAC activities are as per the quality procedures of the company and control & maintain all documents; reviewing and evaluating design and material specifications for tender; and ensuring all produced for all disciplines are well coordinated and presented according to procedures and client requirements.

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
This section describes the principal outputs required from the job.
Strategy Formulation:
• Develop the Department’s strategic objectives & KPIs in line with the Company’s overall approved strategy and direct manager directions to achieve primary goals, set up action plans, ensure proper implementation to deliver these objectives efficiently & effectively, and set individual objectives where applicable.
• Monitor & control the implementation of the strategies & action plans, aiming at achieving the operating results of the Department and ensuring that appropriate measures are in place to achieve targeted objectives, reduce risk and make accurate decisions.
Budget & cost Control:
• Develop the Department’s annual budget and ensure all employees are working within the assigned budget by setting the required targets and responsibilities.
• Monitor and control expenditure against approved budget and reconcile budget variances to ensure on-target performance against budgets.
Policies & Processes:
• Maintain, supervise and develop the Department's Policies & Processes in line with the organizational standards, laws, and regulations and ensure proper implementation of the same.
• Assists in the audit of the Business Unit’s/operations financial records and works effectively with outside auditors.
HVAC Activities:
• Review client source control drawings, specification control drawings, and other applicable specifications to determine the requirements of the component and perform Design verification.
• Ensure the VAC and air-conditioning activities are as per the quality procedures of the company and control & maintain all documents.
• Implements controls and testing/monitoring, including but not limited to, procurement approvals, inventory testing (including counts and obsolescence), operating and payroll disbursements such as use of petty cash and local bank accounts.
• Identifies process improvements and efficiencies, including the implementation of new systems and advises management with regards to resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
• Manages various systems used in the accounting process and implements enhancements as required by growth and expansion.
• Ensures data accuracy and consistency for all related accounting functions.
• Maintains current and accurate accounting records and support.
• Review and evaluate design and material specifications for tender.
• Ensure all drawings produced for all disciplines are well coordinated and presented according to procedures and client requirements.
• Oversee progress and identify any potential risks, challenges, or alterations that could impact the project's success.

• Ensure submission and timely dispatch of the as-built drawings received from the site and prepare materials quantity take-offs according to job requirements.
• Perform any other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
People Management:
• Provide guidance to subordinates to ensure an effective and efficient flow of work, and to ensure that they recognize their roles in achieving the Department’s objectives.
• Identify manpower requirements and participate in recruitment/selection activities as required in line with Company’s policies & procedures to ensure the timely hiring of a highly professional and knowledgeable workforce.
• Ensure that subordinates are aware of their technical & behavioral competencies (knowledge, skills, and abilities) and the proficiency level required.
• Monitor new employee’s onboarding activities, conduct probation period evaluation, and communicate recommendations related to employee's employment confirmation or termination with HR Team.
• Set individual objectives for his or her staff, conduct annual performance appraisals, and recommend promotions accordingly in line with Company’s policies & procedures.
• Identify the training needs of employees and ensure training & development initiatives are successfully delivered in collaboration with the Training & Development team in line with Company’s policies and processes and provide feedback to the Direct Manager.
• Attracts, develops, and retains competent and committed staff members.
• Manage direct subordinates’ leave & attendance to ensure compliance with Company’s attendance & leave policy.
• Delegate responsibilities and assign tasks to the direct subordinates to facilitate performing different tasks and work-related activities.
Reporting:
• Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis to the Direct Manager.

6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE
This section states the minimum knowledge, experience and abilities required for satisfactory performance of the job.
Minimum Degree: Preferable Degree Professional Certification / Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Experience in Field Experience out of the Field Management Experience
12 years of experience in a similar position in a public or private organization.
