Job Position – Civil Engineer – Roads & Highway

Seeking an experienced Civil Engineer – Roads & Highways with a solid background in infrastructure and earthworks, and strong capabilities in project planning and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise road and highway infrastructure works including earthworks, grading, subgrade preparation, and pavement construction.
Prepare and review construction drawings, method statements, and technical specifications related to road and infrastructure projects.
Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure activities are executed according to approved plans and timelines.
Coordinate with survey teams for setting out, levels, and alignment verification.
Review and monitor earthwork quantities including excavation, filling, compaction, and material utilization.
Assist in preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and quantity take-offs for road and earthwork projects.
Track project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Support tender preparation and review technical submissions related to infrastructure works.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in roads, infrastructure, and earthwork projects.
Experience in project planning and scheduling using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Ability to perform quantity take-offs and analyze earthwork volumes.
Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, and safety standards.
