Job Position – Survey Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare survey work plans and coordinate with the construction team.
Conduct site surveys, topographic surveys, and setting out works for infrastructure / Earthwork projects
Set out control points, benchmarks, and site levels for cutting and filling operations.
Interpret engineering drawings and construction plans related to earthworks.
Monitor and guide excavation and backfilling operations to ensure alignment with design levels and grades.
Use GPS, Total Station, and other surveying equipment to capture accurate measurements and data.
Prepare daily survey reports, field sketches, and volume calculations.
Collaborate with project engineers, site supervisors, and equipment operators to ensure smooth and accurate execution.
Verify as-built conditions and provide necessary updates to project documentation.
Maintain a complete and up-to-date record of all survey data and reports.
Ensure survey activities comply with project quality standards and safety regulations.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in surveying engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in land surveying for earthworks (cutting and filling) in infrastructure projects.
Experience in using survey instruments such as Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and related software.
Preparation of longitudinal profiles, generation of cross-sections, and computation of executed earthwork quantities.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and survey data processing software.
Strong understanding of earthwork procedures, grading, and volume calculations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
