Position: Assistant Transport Manager

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in transport or logistics operations
Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Transport Management, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Salary: AED 5000 to 10000 (estimated)
Location: Dubai Industrial City & Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the company’s transport fleet, including trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other operational vehicles.
Ensure the availability and operational readiness of all fleet vehicles by coordinating regular maintenance and servicing schedules.
Plan, organize, and oversee daily transport activities for the movement of precast elements, materials, and equipment between sites and project locations.
Monitor fleet operations to ensure vehicles are functioning efficiently and meeting operational requirements.
Supervise drivers and transport staff, ensuring adherence to company procedures, safety standards, and UAE transport regulations.
Track vehicle performance, monitor fuel consumption, and identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency.
Coordinate closely with production, logistics, and project management teams to ensure deliveries are completed according to schedule.
Maintain detailed records related to fleet operations, including maintenance logs, servicing schedules, and compliance documentation.
Ensure that all transport activities follow company health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Transport Management, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of practical experience in transport management or logistics operations.
Proven experience in fleet management and transport planning within an operational environment.
Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage drivers and transport personnel effectively.
Good knowledge of UAE transport rules and regulatory requirements.
Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors will be considered an advantage
