Position: Special Education Needs Teacher
Experience: 3–5 years of experience working with children with diverse needs
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in special education, Psychology, ABA, or related field (master’s preferred)
Salary: AED 5000 to 10000 (estimated)
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on each child’s requirements
Deliver structured learning sessions and facilitate engaging educational activities
Provide behavioral and developmental support to children with diverse abilities
Collaborate with parents, schools, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic development
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in special education, General Education, Psychology, Social Work, Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
3 to 5 years of relevant experience working with children with special needs
Strong understanding of disabilities, early childhood education, and special education practices
Knowledge of developmental psychology and effective teaching methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans
Strong organizational and time management skills
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
Mandatory Criteria:
Degree equivalency certificate issued by the UAE Ministry of Education
Attested degree certificate from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)
Candidates must currently be based in the UAE and willing to work in Abu Dhabi
