 THE CLIENT: 

 
One of the leaders in the Information Management services industry in the UAE and the region. It is currently safeguarding and providing secure access to many public and private institutions and multinational organizations from around the world. In addition it assists them with storing, protecting, managing and easily accessing their information.
 
THE ROLE: 
 
The Project Manager's main focus and responsibilities will be as follows:
 
- Provide a customer main point of contact and long term management of medium to large contracts.
- Manage teams of engineers assigned to medium to large scale contracts.
- Produce project plans, system diagrams and system specifications.
- Provision as required in systems architecting functions, including responding to customer tender documents, generation of equipment lists, attending pre-sales meetings and providing product demonstrations to customers. 
- Attendance at customer meetings.
- Contributing towards the management and generation of departmental processes.
- Ensuring internal & external meetings are properly managed and recorded.
- Participation in system configuration and on-site commissioning as required.
- Assistance in providing the Customer Support out of hours support service.
- Manage change on the project ensuring that change is appropriately configuration managed. 
- Identify potential issues/risks from initiated change requests and manage the communication channel to the business.
- Be accountable for cost base, manage project costs, forecasts and present back to the business project costs and variances.
- Work with the business to full resource project and forecast/record resource demand and costs. 
- Work with HR to ensure policies are followed correctly and resource is returned to the bench when it is no longer required.
- Produce project governance plan and define project matrix and structure. 
- Chair/host regular project update meetings. 
- Report back to the business on project progress and where appropriate escalate to issues to specific parties.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
 
To be successful in this role the Project Manager will have the following skills and experience:
 
- Candidate should be PMP / or has completed the course work for IT
- Preferably Prince 2 certified
- Candidate must has experience in handling Operations, and should be aware of Quality management principles, handling an operations team structure
- IT services that functions on KPI (key performance Indictors) and service deliverables
- Is aware of performance projections and calculations that enables operational decisions by stakeholders
- Is aware of reporting mechanism to stakeholders
- Thorough knowledge in MS project to task, schedule, assign costs, measure productivity and tracking of expected VS actual project performance. Knowledge in other form of reporting for stakeholders is an added Plus
- Project management skills.
- An understanding of project management principles and their 
- Experience of working within a project-based environment in the broadcast field is essential. 
- An ability to gain an accurate and competent knowledge of the full product range. 
- An ability to understand technical problems and their resolution.
- A good working knowledge of Windows operating systems and networked based computer systems is beneficial. 
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication.
- A high level of commercial awareness.
- Diplomatic negotiation skills.
- The ability to synthesized effective solutions from complex customer workflows.
- Good presentation skills.
- Excellent personal time management
