Achieve high level of customer satisfaction through selection of products, vendors and
building techniques.
2. Recruit and select superior trade contractors and suppliers and maintain a base of
qualified and motivated trade contractors and suppliers with mutually beneficial
relationships.
3. Negotiate prices, terms and rebates with suppliers, manufacturers, and trade contractors
and administer contracts under direction from Purchasing Manager.
4. Ensure that all trade contractors are under formal agreement – standard master
agreement with price addenda and scopes of work.
5. Ensure that all necessary documentation has been collected from vendors and trades
prior to start of work. (i.e.: application form, certificates of insurances, etc.)
6. Train Field Managers on contracts and scope of works.
7. Lock prices for as long a period of time as possible. (i.e.: one year, for the life of the job,
etc.)
8. Continually evaluate current trades, materials and contracts to position JayMarc Homes
in the most competitive position as possible.
9. Continually look into innovative products, techniques, and changes in the home building
industry.
10. Assist in determining accurate standard specifications and scopes of work for each trade.
11. Provide consistent and strong support to field managers
12. Interpret and implement building code change
