Job Description :

• Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics
• Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
• Direct social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media
• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
• Manage media inquiries and interview requests
• Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
• Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
• Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
• Lead the management and thought-leadership around key strategic cross-functional initiatives, inspiring a shared vision around objectives
• Establish and lead working group meetings; create weekly project status and executive reporting, lead regular program reviews with key stakeholders from the business, technical and cross-functional teams
• Monitor project and work stream dependencies and risks while optimizing for constraints including; monitoring the program status at every work stream level and aggregating this into program management-level dashboards and reports.
• Establish metrics, templates and governance for the projects you manage including key performance indicators
• Liaising on a daily basis with clients and the media, often via telephone and email;
• Relationship building and networking with colleagues, clients and the media;
• Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs, for opportunities for clients;
• Working as part of an account team to develop client proposals and implement the PR activity;
• Preparing regular client reports and attending client meetings;
• Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media;
• Promoting news stories and features to the media, known as 'selling in'
• Collating, analysing and evaluating media coverage;
• Event management, including press conferences and promotional events;
• Attending and promoting client events to the media;
• Assisting with the production of client publications, such as in-house magazines;
• Commissioning market research;
• Coordinating studio or location photography;
• Undertaking research for new business proposals and presenting to potential new clients;
• Managing the PR aspect of a possible crisis situation
• Researching markets to identify opportunities for events
• Liaising with clients to ascertain their precise event requirements
• Producing detailed proposals for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)
• Agreeing to and managing a budget
• Securing and booking a suitable venue or location
• Ensuring insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are adhered to
• Coordinating venue management, caterers, stand designers, contractors and equipment hire
• Organizing facilities for car parking, traffic control, security, first aid, hospitality and the media
• Identifying and securing speakers or special guests
• Planning room layouts and the entertainment programme, scheduling workshops and demonstrations
• Coordinating staffing requirements and staff briefings
• Selling sponsorship/stand/exhibition space to potential exhibitors/partners;
• Preparing delegate packs and papers
• Liaising with marketing and PR colleagues to promote the event
• Liaising with clients and designers to create a brand for the event and organizing the production of tickets, posters, catalogues and sales brochures
• Coordinating suppliers, handling client queries and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly
• Overseeing the dismantling and removal of the event and clearing the venue efficiently
• Post-event evaluation (including data entry and analysis and producing reports for event stakeholders)

Role Responsibilities :

• Develops and implements their clients’s and company’s overall strategic public relations programs with a focus on clients Lead Generations, Partnerships and PR.
• Programs may often include media relations, community relations, internal communications and investor relations.

Requirements :

• Bachelor Degree
• 1 Year of Experience as Public Relations Manager
• Need Bahraini National
