Job Location : UAE

Job Description :

• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows Client OS and macOS.
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot desktop applications, like: Adobe Acrobat, Skype, Antivirus Software, etc.
• Microsoft Office and Office365 configuration and troubleshooting.
• Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot computers, printers, projectors and IP Cameras.
• Perform general preventative maintenance and remedial repairs to computers, laptops and printers.
• Responsible for the daily monitoring of backups and scheduled tasks.
• Familiarize end users on basic software, hardware and peripheral device operation.
• Provide L1 support and escalate whenever needed.
• Works with other IT team members on troubleshooting, upgrades and deployments for internal operations.
• Keep the records of all the activities, upgrades, inventory and transactions related to IT department.
• Responsible for IT equipment physical placement, inventory and documentation.
• Assist in IT purchasing process including sending RFQ's and submitting purchase requests.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge in problem solving desktop hardware and software problems and user related problems.
• Strong knowledge of PC related Hardware.
• Strong knowledge of Printers and network devices.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS including Windows 7, 8 and 10 and Apple macOS
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Skype for Business, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
• Working knowledge of Backup Solutions.
• Working knowledge of Antivirus solutions.
• Working knowledge of virtualization solutions Hyper-V.
• Working knowledge of Cisco VoIP phones and Android and iOS platforms.
• Working knowledge of video conferencing hardware and software.
• Working knowledge of Office 365.

Recommended Certifications:

• CompTIA A & Server
• Microsoft MCSA Windows 10 or Microsoft MCSA Windows Server 2012
• HDI Desktop Support Technician (HDI-DST)
