Job Description :

• To identify potential projects from public announcements, and to provide an in-depth analysis, including budgets, scope, timescales, for approval to proceed. All targets selected are to be continually tracked and updated as necessary.
• To actively promote Ecovert FMK to Clients and Suppliers targeted within the Business Plan by establishing personal contact, in addition to general marketing, exhibitions and conferences.
• To set up and maintain an opportunity database.
• To maintain regular contacts with Clients and Advisers on bids submitted whether or not EFMK win the contract.
• To work closely with the FM Development Managers during the bidding process and assist with any aspect of the bid submission as is required in order to submit a fully compliant tender.
• To ensure EFMK are registered on all databases relevant to Client selection of FM Partners, and to maintain such registration up to date and relevant in accordance with the current business plan.
• To liaise with the Communications Manager to ensure all publicity information is accurate and relevant.
• To identify potential strategic partners.
• To commit to developing new skills on the bidding and commercial aspects of FM projects.
• To take ownership of the prequalification process and ensure that the Client requirements are fully addressed in any response.
• To arrange and host reference visits to existing operational sites or other meetings with Clients.
• To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department / Service. Significant permanent changes in duties will require agreed revisions to be made to this Job Description.
• To comply with the Company’s Policies, Procedures and written instructions.
• To fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Health & Safety management system & guidelines.
• To support the Company's Quality Policy Statement and actively participate in the achievement of Company and personal Quality objectives.
• To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department / Service. Significant permanent changes in duties will require agreed revisions to be made to this Job Description.

Requirements :

• Should be located in Kuwait
• Have 5-7 years experience as Business Development Officer

Skills :

• To collect upstream market intelligence information on forthcoming FM opportunities, to test against business plan targets, to identify financial and human resource requirements to meet client requirements, to meet and build relationships with key members of the Client team, including existing suppliers, and to make recommendation for participation in opportunities.
