Cost Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Analyze costs of food and beverage production, catering services, and other operational expenses to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures to track expenses, inventory levels, and profitability.
• Monitor inventory levels and analyze inventory turnover rates to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
• Prepare regular financial reports, including cost variance analysis, budget vs. actual performance, and profitability reports for management review.
• Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to negotiate favorable pricing and terms with suppliers and vendors.
• Conduct regular audits of financial records and inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist in the development of pricing strategies for menu items and catering services to ensure profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
Eligibility:
• Applicants must be residents of Kuwait and have Visa 18 (transferable), with excellent computer skills and menu engineering knowledge.
