Responsibilities:
Perform dental examinations and treatments for children, including cleanings, fillings, and extractions.
Provide preventive care such as fluoride treatments and sealants.
Manage behavior and anxiety in pediatric patients during visits.
Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene practices and diet.
Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
Respond to dental emergencies involving children.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications:
DDS or DMD degree from accredited dental school.
Completion of pediatric dentistry residency program.
State licensure and certification in pediatric dentistry.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassion and patience in working with children.
