Supply Chain Specialist

Job Summary:
A Supply Chain Specialist is a professional responsible for managing various aspects of a company's supply chain, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods or services from the supplier to the end customer. Their primary objective is to optimize the supply chain process, reduce costs, improve quality, evaluate suppliers, and enhance overall performance.

Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Management:
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and service agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
2. Inventory Management:
• Forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer needs while minimizing carrying costs.
• Implement inventory control measures such as ABC analysis, EOQ, and safety stock management.
• Coordinate with internal teams to manage inventory replenishment and minimize stockouts.
3. Logistics and Transportation:
• Plan and optimize transportation routes to reduce shipping costs and lead times.
• Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Manage customs compliance, documentation, and import/export processes and certifications.
4. Supply Chain Analytics:
• Utilize data and analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as fill rates, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover.
• Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the supply chain.
• Generate reports and insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Supplier Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement, quality assurance, and innovation.
• Resolve supplier-related issues and disputes in a timely and effective manner.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with internal teams such as procurement, logistics, production, and sales to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to optimize processes and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or Mechanical Engineering with experience in supply chain field (preferred).
• Proven experience (2 years minimum) in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software, data analytics tools).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships and collaborating across teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or similar credentials are a plus

Salary Package:
4,000 – 7,000 SR
