VMware Systems Engineer
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional) preferred.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing VMware vSphere environments in enterprise-scale environments.
• Deep understanding of VMware technologies, including vSphere, vCenter Server, ESXi, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize Suite.
• Strong knowledge of virtual networking, storage, and security concepts, as well as related protocols and technologies (e.g., VLANs, NFS, iSCSI, SSL/TLS).
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerCLI, vSphere API, Ansible) for infrastructure management and automation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in virtualized environments.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
