Position: Laundry Supervisor
Location: Qatar
Salary: 2500 QAR ( Basic) + 500 ( Special Allowance) + 400 ( Food allowance) + 100 ( Mobile allowance ) = 3500 QAR ( Total)
Education: Bachelor' s Degree / Any Graduate
Skills:
Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, Arabic Basic
Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS-Office.
Experience:
ยท 3 years in healthcare laundry operations or 5 years in Hotel Laundry department at supervisor position
Supervisor Duties:
1. Supervise laundry employees in all production areas within the laundry to ensure productivity and standards are maintained.
2. Ensure enough supplies of linen and uniforms are always available.
3. Coordinate all work activities within the production areas to make sure that the workload is processed in the most efficient and effective manner whilst ensuring that the specific needs of the user department are met.
4. The supervisor will also be expected to actively participate within the processing areas as required.
5. Report any incident that may occur during working hours such as machine failures, misconduct, staff shortages, hazardous situations, or service issues as soon as possible to the Laundry Operations Manager.
6. Ensure that the work area is always maintained in a clean, neat, and orderly manner.
7. Ensure that all equipment is always maintained and in good condition.
8. Observe operation of machines and equipments to detect possible malfunctions.
9. Carry out daily checks on washing programs approved by HMC administration to ensure compliance with infection control requirements.
10. Inspect items to determine methods of specific cleaning requirements.
11. Continually supervise, train and coach laundry staff.
12. Assist in inventory.
13. Ensure all established policies and procedures of the department are complied.
14. Perform other duties as instructed.
