• Linux System update and security paching ( RedHat, SUSE , Ubuntu …etc)
• Linux Cluster Administration
• Exchange (Email System) – Exchange
• vSphere Virtualization( EXSi,vCenter)
• Certified SUSE12 / SUSE 15
• Managing HA Cluster (HANA/SAP Applications).
• Troubleshooting HA cluster nodes (HANA/SAP Applications).
• Configuring saptune by coordinating SAP Team for particular landscape.
• Applying sapnotes on OS Level.
• SUSE Manager Administration.
• Troubleshoot/fix Storage LUN Multipath via FC / ISCSI troubleshooting.
• Advance troubleshooting OS issues like booting issue, hanging issue, slowness, performance, ISCSI etc
• Installing/Updating fixes on SUSE Standalone systems and HA cluster nodes
• ACL permissions, LVM management, discovering new san disk and extending FS
• Configuring NFS and troubleshooting NFS issues.
• Performance monitoring.
• Participating in monthly scheduled maintenance window.
• Implementing technical security configuration baselines/Fixing security issues.
• Hardening servers by applying CIS rules.
• Working on Physical/VM Server environment.
• Performing health check regularly.
• Identify network issues, firewall port or Fiber channel issue.
• Working with Network/Firewall/ PAM team.
• Writing shell script.
• SLES Service Pack Migration.
• SLES Major OS version Upgrade .
• Document step-by-step guides of the configuration.
• Checking System / Journal logs for any critical errors and fixing them by taking appropriate team in coordination with application team.
• Account management Password Management for service accounts / root account.
• Implementing best practice and recommendations provided by Support.
