Barista
Job Location: Manama, Bahrain
Customer Service:
• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Provide recommendations and answer questions about the menu, including coffee types and pastries.
• Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally.
Beverage Preparation:
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all beverages meet quality standards and presentation guidelines.
Food Handling:
• Prepare and serve light food items, such as pastries and sandwiches, if applicable.
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.
Cleanliness and Maintenance:
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including the bar area, dining area, and equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as washing dishes and wiping down surfaces.
• Restock supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels.
Cash Handling:
• Process payments accurately and efficiently, using cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
• Manage cash drawers and perform end-of-shift cash reconciliation.
Team Collaboration:
• Work effectively with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Skill Development:
• Stay informed about coffee trends, brewing techniques, and product knowledge.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills and service quality.
