Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key partners, and driving revenue growth. The role requires a deep understanding of the fintech industry, particularly in areas such as digital payments, blockchain, lending, or financial software solutions.

Main Duties:
1. Identifying Business Opportunities:
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential customer segments, and areas for growth.
• Explore opportunities in fintech-specific markets, such as digital payments, blockchain, lending, insurtech, or wealth management.
2. Building Client Relationships:
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, resolving issues and ensuring client satisfaction.
3. Strategic Partnerships:
• Identify and engage with strategic partners such as banks, financial institutions, payment gateways, and technology providers.
• Negotiate and finalize agreements to create mutually beneficial alliances.
4. Sales and Revenue Growth:
• Drive revenue by closing new deals, expanding client portfolios, and upselling or cross-selling fintech products and services.
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
5. Product Positioning and Customization:
• Collaborate with the product team to tailor solutions that meet client needs and market demands.
• Provide insights to improve product offerings based on customer feedback and market trends.
6. Market Analysis:
• Monitor competitive activity and industry developments to ensure the company remains ahead in innovation.
• Analyze customer data and behavior to identify patterns and refine sales strategies.
7. Business Development Planning:
• Develop and implement business development plans aligned with company goals.
• Create detailed financial forecasts and track ROI for new ventures or projects.
8. Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations, legal, and compliance) to align business goals and strategies.
• Coordinate with technical teams for product demonstrations and client onboarding.
9. Reporting and Performance Analysis:
• Prepare regular reports on business performance, sales progress, and revenue achievements.
• Use CRM tools to manage pipelines and track client interactions.
10. Representing the Company:
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to promote brand awareness.
• Deliver impactful presentations to potential clients and partners, showcasing fintech solutions and services.
11. Sales Target:
• Reach sales target given by the Top management (monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, annual).
Knowledge & Experience:
Fintech Industry Expertise:
• Strong understanding of fintech products and services, including but not limited to digital payments, blockchain, open banking, lending platforms, regtech, or insurtech.
• Familiarity with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
Financial Services Background:
• Knowledge of banking, payments, financial operations, and the broader financial ecosystem.
• Awareness of compliance and security protocols like PCI DSS, KYC, AML, and GDPR.
Market Intelligence:
• Deep understanding of customer needs, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
• Ability to identify profitable market segments and opportunities for growth.
Sales & Marketing Techniques:
• Proficiency in creating sales strategies and implementing go-to-market plans.
• Familiarity with digital marketing techniques and lead generation in fintech.
Technology Acumen:
• Awareness of software solutions, APIs, and platforms commonly used in fintech.
• Basic knowledge of SaaS business models and digital transformation strategies.
