1. Sales & Marketing:

a) Attend promptly enquiries received for the product group being handled.
b) Ensure quotations are sent to potential customers within the time stipulated.
c) Discuss pricing strategy with HOD and take approval before sending the quotation.
d) Maintain close follow-up of all quotations sent to customers.
e) Wherever necessary involve HOD for negotiating orders.
f) Ensure that amendments to quotations resulting out of negotiations OR changes in technical parameters are confirmed in writing to customers - wherever necessary send them Revised Quotations.
g) On receipt of orders, check compliance to terms agreed by us.
h) Send order acknowledgement for all project orders
i) Maintain good working relationship with customers (Consultants, Contractors & Clients).

2. Product Responsibility:

a) Maintain healthy relationship with suppliers/principals.
b) Ensure that import prices not only take care of Market needs - but assures company the profit objectives set out.
c) Ensure that principals are constantly kept abreast of Market happenings - both general & product specific.
d) Wherever necessary involve HOD in price negotiations with Suppliers.
e) Maintain proper diligence & discipline in advising Code Number at the time of preparing OPOs.
f) Take care to see that terms agreed by us to our customers match the terms that we get our suppliers to accept - and have them detailed in the OPO.
g) Keep close tab on the progress of OPOs.
h) Communicate to customers deviations for accepted path, however after consultation with HOD.
i) Ensure Consultants/Contractors are provided adequate technical knowledge on the products and work on having them specified.

3. Order Execution:

a) Ensure orders are executed well within Delivery Date committed/accepted.
b) Wherever approvals are required from client/consultant, take necessary action well and early (drawings, material, installation materials etc).
c) Co-ordinate with Marketing Co-ordinator, and initiate SOR preparation and ensure it is sent to warehouse well and early - at least 3 weeks in advance in case of projects - 2 to 3 days in advance in case of normal order. This would ensure that warehouse personnel get adequate time for planning deliveries.
d) Assist warehouse in getting signature on DOR wherever they find the client/his site personnel make matters difficult.
e) Provide drawing to and brief Technical Support Cell on installation/commissioning wherever involved.
f) Keep tab on installation progress, guiding the installers through the process.
g) Source & provide installation materials as and when required.
h) Obtain commissioning & completion report duly signed by client/his Project Manager.
i) Complete handing over of O&M manuals and other project submissions within two weeks of installation.

4. Recoveries:

a) Assist Credit Control, wherever required, to get payment / payment certificates, thus ensuring invoices get paid for within agreed credit period.

5. Showroom:

a) Organize proper display in the showroom
b) Educate showroom staff on new products

6. Warehouse:

a) Visit stores frequently and inspect storage condition of products.
b) Initiate corrective measures if storage is not as required, and report back to HOD
