Position Title: Civil Engineer
Experience Level: 5-10 Years
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, design, and oversee civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, roads, drainage, and buildings.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
• Develop and review detailed project plans, blueprints, and technical drawings using software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and timelines.
• Manage project budgets, prepare cost estimates, and oversee procurement processes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with local and international standards, codes, and regulations.
• Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and project presentations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record of successfully delivered projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis tools like ETABS or STAAD Pro.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in sustainable and eco-friendly engineering practices.
• Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and advanced project management tools.
• Knowledge of geotechnical, structural, or transportation engineering principles.
