What You’ll Do
Identify and evaluate opportunities that build brand and product visibility and establish credibility, including social channels
Draft messaging, support media events organization
Identify and elevate potential issues to your Manager and solicit counsel when needed to avert crises
Work across teams to identify and interview key customers and build newsworthy stories that articulate Tesla’s product messages to media
Build meaningful relationships with internal teams, including sales, service and charging, to achieve highly effective and measurable results
Responsible for updating media data base, monitoring and reporting
Handover cars to influencers and coordinate press fleet logistics
Keep photo database and press coverage archives
Travel throughout the country with flexibility to attend events
Assist in the planning of press and stakeholder events, as well as customer events with a media component
Travel through the GCC to attend events and handover test drives/loans to press
What You’ll Bring
University’s degree preferred (Communications, Public Relations, Journalism)
Fluent English and Arabic, required for this position
1-3 years in product and/or corporate communications, preferably for a major technology, lifestyle or automotive company or acquired on agency side
Experience with and able to develop strong relationships with regional media
Demonstrate initiative in managing a wide range of projects with a high degree of independence
Demonstrate proficiency in writing skills to craft external correspondence, press materials, etc
Demonstrate practical and advanced
understanding of visual communications, social media and the digital landscape and how to incorporate these channels into communication programs
Ability to work in a dynamic and very fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail on all projects
Ability to travel (30%)
Clean, valid driving license
