1. Identify problems with motorcycles or ATVs by listening to customer descriptions, conducting visual inspections and utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint issues.
2. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as engine tune-ups, brake adjustments, oil changes, electrical system repairs etc. This includes disassembling, repairing and reassembling components.
3. Identifying faulty parts and replacing them with new components. This may involve ordering parts, ensuring compatibility, and installing them correctly.
4. Conducting tests to ensure that repairs have been successful and that the motorcycle operates safely and efficiently. This may involve test rides and thorough inspections.
5. Interacting with customers to understand their concerns, explaining repair options and costs, and providing maintenance advice to help customers keep their motorcycles in good condition.
6. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used and service performed. This documentation is essential for tracking maintenance schedules and providing proof of work done.
7. Ensuring that repaired motorcycles meet safety standards and regulations. This includes inspecting brakes, lights, tires, and other critical components to ensure they function correctly.
8. Keeping up-to-date with advances in motorcycle technology, diagnostic methods, and repair techniques through training programs, workshops, and industry publications.
9. To work in the Marine section when required.
10. Perform other relevant duties as and when assigned by Management
