Role Description:
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Automation Engineer with a strong background in Siemens PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and TIA (Totally Integrated Automation) Portal. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining automation systems that enhance efficiency, reliability, and productivity within our operations.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement PLC programs using TIA Portal for various automation applications.
• Configure and integrate SCADA systems to monitor and control industrial processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze automation requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging of PLC/SCADA systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct system testing, validation, and commissioning of automation projects.
• Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in PLC/SCADA technologies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
• Proven experience (5 to 7 years) in PLC programming, SCADA configuration, and TIA Portal development.
• Strong proficiency in Siemens PLC platforms (S7-1200, S7-1500, S7-400/S7-400H/S7-400F/FH & above ) and Siemens HMI/SCADA software.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Profibus, Profinet, and Ethernet/IP.
• Experience in integrating PLC/SCADA systems with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
