Position: Nuclear Gauge Technician

Job Location: Doha, Qatar

Salary: QAR 2000-2300 based on qualification and experience

Qualification:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Material Testing Laboratory field.
• Candidates should have a Nuclear Gauge License

Responsibility:

• Check the condition of the received samples, and reject improperly taken, or samples with incomplete information.
• Receive the sample from the Sample receipt area and start testing the sample as per the defined standards
• Perform a required analysis as per the approved international reference test methods.
• Report all analysis data to the Material Engineer in a form of work-sheets
• Maintaining the integrity of lab instruments and testing equipment, informing the Material Engineer of test-related abnormalities and maintaining good housekeeping in his testing area.
• Calibrate Lab instruments according to the Calibration schedule as given in the Calibration status of the instruments.
• Conduct field trips to collect samples upon request.
• Follows the Lab shift schedule time-keeping and all Material Engineer instructions related to Lab work.

Authority:

To reject the improper sample received for testing.
