Technician (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)

We are seeking an experienced and skilled MEP, Pools, Water Features & Spa Technician to join our team. This position is pivotal in ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) systems, pools, water features, and spa equipment. Key Responsibilities:
1. MEP Systems:
• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with MEP systems, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
2. Pools, Water Features & Spa Equipment:
• Install, maintain, and repair pools, water features, and spa equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems.
• Conduct water testing and treatment to ensure water quality and safety.
3. Equipment Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on MEP systems, pools, water features, and spa equipment to extend their lifespan and optimize performance.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules and keep detailed maintenance records.
4. Repairs:
• Respond to service calls and conduct on-site repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and replace or repair faulty components.
5. Safety Compliance:
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Stay updated on safety practices and recommend improvements.
6. Client Communication:
• Interact with clients to explain the nature of the work, provide cost estimates, and answer any questions or concerns.
• Maintain professional and friendly communication with clients.
7. Documentation:
• Document all work performed, including equipment inspections, maintenance tasks, and repairs.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate service records.
8. Parts and Inventory Management:
• Manage parts and equipment inventory, including ordering necessary supplies and tracking usage.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or trade school certification is preferred.
• Proven experience as an MEP technician or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, pool equipment, water features, and spa systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
