API/Manual Tester

Key Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design appropriate test cases for manual testing.
-Execute test cases manually and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
-Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution of defects.
-Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
-Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies, specifically in manual testing.
-Stay up to date with emerging manual testing techniques and best practices in the software testing field.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
-Minimum 5+ years of IT experience, with 3+ years in the airline domain.
-Strong understanding of the airline industry, including inventory, pricing, booking, and payment concepts.
-Experience in manual testing of applications and software, with a focus on functional, regression, and integration testing.
-Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or similar for manual validation.
-Familiarity with database testing, particularly with MongoDB and Oracle.
-Strong analytical skills to understand complex systems and troubleshoot issues.
– Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
