Qualification (minimum):

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Certified in HV Cable Installation & Testing

Experience (minimum):

• 10 to 12 years relevant experience of which at least 5 years in in brown field projects within Oil & Gas industry at supervisory level.
• Expertise in HV cable installation, jointing, termination and testing procedures
• Experience with ADNOC projects preferred

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• The Electrical Supervisor will oversee the installation of an 18 km, 33kV high-voltage composite cable and associated electrical systems at Company’s offshore sites.
• Responsible for supervising HV cable laying, termination, testing, and commissioning per specifications, Engineering document review, Material management and HSE requirements. The supervisor will coordinate with contractors, field teams, and Company Engineers while reporting progress to the Company Field Office in Abu Dhabi.
• Supervise HV cable laying, pulling, jointing, termination, and testing at designated locations.
• Oversee the installation of junction boxes, link boxes, and termination panels.
• Engineering document review, Material management
• Monitor and verify cable testing procedures (Hi-Pot, Insulation Resistance, OTDR, LSPM).
• Ensure the correct handling, storage, and installation of HV cables and accessories.
• Coordinate with Contractor for pre-commissioning and final commissioning tests.
• Identify areas for technical and process improvements in HV cable installations and suggest modifications to increase safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Timely execution of HV cable installation per project schedule.
• Adherence to electrical safety standards and PTW compliance.
• Successful testing and commissioning without defects or rework.
• Minimal downtime due to quality issues or technical errors.
• Accurate and timely reporting of project progress.
