Qualification (minimum):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science or any Engineering field.
• Certifications in NEBOSH, IOSH, ADNOC-approved HSE Training preferred.

Experience (minimum):

• 10-12 years of HSE experience in offshore/onshore oil & gas projects.
• 5+ years in a supervisory HSE role in HV cable laying and construction projects.
• Experience with ADNOC safety regulations and permit-to-work systems preferred.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• The HSE Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the health, safety, and environmental compliance of the HV Cable Installation project at Company’s offshore sites.
• Responsible for ensuring adherence to Company’s HSEMS, ADNOC HSE regulations, and international safety standards.
• The officer will work closely with contractors, site teams, and project managers to mitigate risks, enforce safety protocols, and maintain an incident-free work environment.
• Provide on-site HSE support and supervision during cable installation, trenching, and lifting activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards, ADNOC Life-Saving Rules (LSR), and hazard control measures. Investigate all HSE-related incidents and near misses, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure that all incidents and safety observations are reported in line with Company’s HSEMS requirements.
• Conduct HSE audits on contractor work areas, report gaps, and ensure corrective actions are
• implemented. Organize and conduct pre-mobilization and pre-execution HSE audits for contractor compliance.
• Participate in and coordinate emergency drills and safety campaigns to enhance awareness.
• Zero Lost Time Incidents (LTI) and safety violations throughout the project, effective implementation of HSE policies and ADNOC Life-Saving Rules.
• Timely resolution of HSE-related findings and non-compliance issues, successful execution of emergency response drills and awareness campaigns, accurate and timely reporting of HSE performance statistics.

Job Specific Skills:

• Strong knowledge of HSEMS, ADNOC LSR, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Expertise in excavation safety, lifting operations, and confined space entry protocols.
• Ability to conduct HSE audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Experience in contractor management, regulatory compliance, and HSE reporting.
• Understanding of tendering processes and HSE requirements in EPC projects.
