We are seeking a qualified and Aramco-approved QC Electrical Inspector to join our team for ongoing project UWIP in Alhasa in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical inspection, quality control procedures, and experience working on Saudi Aramco projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspection and testing of electrical installations and materials in accordance with project specifications, international standards, and Aramco requirements.
Review and verify electrical drawings, method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and material submittals.
Conduct site inspections for installation of cables, conduits, grounding, lighting systems, transformers, switchgear, and panels.
Monitor and witness testing procedures such as insulation resistance, continuity, high voltage testing, and loop checks.
Ensure compliance with Aramco’s safety and quality standards throughout the execution of electrical work.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, NCRs, and quality records as per project documentation requirements.
Coordinate with Aramco PMT, consultants, and internal project teams for inspections and approvals.
Ensure timely closure of punch lists and quality-related issues raised by the client.
Participate in internal audits and quality meetings as required.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Aramco-approved as QC Electrical Inspector with a valid SAP No.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical QA/QC roles within oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
Solid knowledge of international standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE) and Aramco standards.
Strong understanding of electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Familiar with site safety standards and procedures.
Preferred:
Experience with Aramco projects (site or plant-based) in the Eastern Province.
