Doha Petroleum Construction is seeking a capable and experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage and streamline logistics operations for ongoing oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in coordinating shipments, customs, transportation, and inventory management within the oil & gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials and equipment.
Communicate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and transport providers to ensure efficient logistics execution.
Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for import/export and customs clearance.
Track shipments and provide regular updates to project and procurement teams.
Oversee warehouse activities including material handling, inventory tracking, and dispatch planning.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and logistics documentation.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies and local regulations.
Assist in resolving logistical challenges to avoid project delays.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of logistics experience in the oil & gas industry
Familiarity with international shippingprocedures, Incoterms, and GCC customs regulations
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills
Prior experience with EPC or construction project logistics is an advantage
