We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Engineer – Project Manager to lead and coordinate the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of construction projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain, from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, subcontractors, and ensuring all MEP systems meet regulatory standards, project specifications, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the MEP coordination, installation, and commissioning processes for multiple construction projects.

Review and approve MEP design drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.

Develop and monitor detailed project schedules and budgets for MEP scopes.

Oversee subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.

Coordinate with architects, civil/structural engineers, and general contractors to resolve design conflicts and construction issues.

Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure installation quality and safety compliance.

Ensure proper documentation of project progress, changes, RFIs, and punch lists.

Manage procurement of MEP systems, materials, and equipment.

Collaborate with the commissioning team to validate system performance and support handover activities.

Stay updated with local building codes, energy efficiency standards, and new technologies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, (or related field)

15 years of experience in MEP construction project management.

Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects and cross-disciplinary teams.

Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera) and design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
