JOB SUMMARY
The Civil Foreman is responsible for executing civil construction activities on-site, ensuring tasks are completed according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role involves carrying out structural, earthworks, and finishing activities while coordinating with the General Foreman, engineers, and labor teams to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to construction plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out construction tasks for the following activities such as excavation, concrete, formwork, reinforcement, masonry, finishing, etc.
Ensure work is performed as per project drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards.
Assist in setting out and leveling construction sites.
Use tools and equipment effectively to complete assigned tasks.
Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
Adhere to quality control measures and report any defects or deviations.
Work closely with the General Foreman, Site Engineers, and other team members.
Report material shortages, work progress, and site challenges to the General Foreman.
Supervise 25-30 skilled or unskilled labor
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or technical training/certification in civil construction.
5+ years of experience in civil construction, structural and finishing works.
Strong knowledge of civil construction techniques and materials.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong ability to lead and train manpower.
