The Scaffolding Design Engineer will be responsible for designing scaffolding structures that meet project requirements, safety standards, and load calculations, ensuring efficient and safe scaffolding solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and review scaffolding designs and layouts based on project specifications.
Conduct structural analysis and load calculations for scaffolding systems.
Liaise with project engineers to incorporate design requirements.
Ensure designs comply with safety standards and regulations.
Support procurement with technical specifications and drawings.
Review vendor and fabricator drawings for compliance.
Provide technical support during erection and dismantling phases.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Scaffolding Design Engineer in Oil & Gas or construction projects.
Strong knowledge of scaffolding standards (e.g., EN, OSHA, local codes).
Proficiency in scaffolding design software (e.g., STAAD, AutoCAD).
Engineering degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
Good understanding of load calculations and structural analysis.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
