Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Determine project objectives, criteria, and stakeholders' expectations.
• Develop project plans with the Planning Engineer, identifying risks, cost overruns, timelines, and deviations.
• Define project milestones, establish task completion deadlines, and lead teams to successful execution.
• Manage project development from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
• Oversee team performance, assign tasks, and monitor progress at each stage.
• Track project status, summarize results, and communicate effectively with management, clients, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate across departments, ensuring seamless project execution and team collaboration.
• Utilize project management tools such as Primavera and MS Project for critical path identification and recovery planning.
• Conduct risk analysis to minimize obstacles and cost impacts.
• Perform periodic reviews of scope, schedule, and cost to identify variations and manage change work orders.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly project progress reports, highlighting
deviations and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to project safety guidelines and implementation of safety plans.
• Address and resolve issues that hinder project completion.
• Monitor and enforce "Daily Progress Targets" at site, identifying challenges and providing solutions.
• Plan and mobilize manpower and resources in coordination with the Planning Engineer.
• Balance workload distribution and prevent idle manpower by adjusting mobilization strategies.
• Supervise daily construction activities, interpreting drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Evaluate project deviations and their impact on budget and schedule.
• Implement monitoring tools to assess progress and subordinate performance.
• Ensure compliance with project documentation, industry standards, permits, and regulations.

Education and Experience:
• 8 to 12 years of experience as a Project Engineer handling Electrical &
Instrumentation projects in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Industrial and International Codes and Standards.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to independently handle meetings,
agendas, and minutes of meetings (MOMs).
• UPDA Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
