Job Title: HSE Engineer

Location: Qatar

Salary Range: QAR 6,000 - 7,000 + FAT

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to oversee and manage Health, Safety, and
Environmental (HSE) operations at our project site in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international safety standards, conducting
risk assessments, and implementing effective safety measures in alignment with
organizational policies and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs in
compliance with local and international regulations.
• Monitor, control, and report on HSE performance and ensure adherence to HSE
management plans.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and ensure corrective/preventive
actions are implemented.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential
hazards and develop mitigation plans.
• Regulate and monitor contractor HSE compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
• Participate actively in PSSR, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning activities,
preparing reports and providing HSE support.
• Provide HSE training and awareness programs to employees and contractors.
• Maintain compliance with ISO/OHSAS and HSE management systems.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a
related field.
• 8 to 10 years of GCC experience in HSE within the Oil & Gas industry.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory (additional certifications such as IOSH or
equivalent are a plus).
• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations/standards.
• Proven ability to independently manage and execute HSE-related activities.
• Experience in HSE training, compliance, and audits.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
