We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Executive to manage the company’s outgoing payments and financial transactions. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintain updated records, and assist in improving the overall efficiency of the finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation of supplier statements.
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of all disbursements.
Maintain and reconcile petty cash and staff reimbursements.
Ensure timely and accurate payment cycles (cheques, online transfers, etc.).
Maintain Excel-based reports for payables tracking and aging analysis.
Prepare and post journal entries related to AP transactions.
Monitor outstanding payables and follow up on pending approvals or discrepancies.
Assist with month-end closing processes and ensure compliance with internal accounting policies.
Identify and report any discrepancies or inefficiencies in the payable process.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
2–3 years of experience specifically in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role.
Strong understanding of general ledger and financial reporting.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Fluent in Hindi; proficiency in English is a plus.
