- Creates and Reviews of contractual documentation.
- Designs construction projects by studying project concepts, architectural drawings, and models.
- Prepares engineering design by collecting and studying reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and related topographical and geologic data.
- Determines project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs.
- Prepares feasibility study by analyzing engineering design, conducting environmental impact studies, and assembling data.
- Plan and organize the Engineering team along with the Head of Engineering, including generation of daily/weekly reporting.
- Responsible for leading and coordinating Project Teams formed to provide complete project management services relating to Civil and Structural.
- Prepare and implement Project Execution and QHSE Plans for all assigned projects.
- Manage and coordinate a Team of multidiscipline Engineers to achieve a cost-effective design through timely resolution of technical and engineering.
- Participate in the preparation of tender packages, tendering process.
- Coordinate and liaise Project Engineers, ensuring smooth workflow on projects.
- Provide back up to the Engineering Team for managing and handling projects including providing technical advice as required.
- Ensure that the safety management programmed on departments safety objectives are strictly followed and action is taken against defaulters to prevent recurrence.
- Generate and maintain risk registers in order to ensure that risks are managed and mitigated.
- Participate in the processing and resolution of Variations and Contractor's claims.
- Participate in the review and development of QP procedures and guidelines as and when assigned.
- Ensure that all work is carried out to the required quality in the best possible manner and within the guidelines of industry’s best engineering practices and International Engineering standards.
- Motivate, direct, align and guide the team for the best performance, monitor performance and provide continuous appraisal & feedback. Empower subordinates and provide apt tools and technique including process improvement suggestions and follow up on implementation.
