Job Summary:
The Hub Leader is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a logistics hub, ensuring that all inbound and outbound shipments are processed efficiently, accurately, and in line with company standards. The role involves managing staff, coordinating with transport teams, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily hub operations, including sorting, loading, and dispatching parcels.
Lead and manage a team of hub supervisors, drivers, and warehouse staff.
Ensure all shipments are processed accurately and within the required timelines.
Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, accuracy, and hub efficiency.
Coordinate with the transport and line-haul teams to ensure smooth inbound and outbound flow.
Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure proper scanning and documentation of packages.
Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
Resolve operational issues and escalate critical problems to the regional or operations manager.
Implement process improvements to optimize space, resources, and efficiency.
Train and evaluate team members and ensure they adhere to company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or hub operations.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Good understanding of logistics software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
