he Road Safety Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining road safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all personnel and assets. The role involves conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and training programs in compliance with ADNOC standards and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce road safety policies and procedures aligned with ADNOC standards.
Conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections related to vehicular movement and road infrastructure.
Coordinate and facilitate safety training sessions for drivers and personnel involved in transportation activities.
Monitor and analyze accident reports and incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure the proper maintenance and safety compliance of all vehicles and transportation equipment.
Liaise with relevant authorities, contractors, and internal departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain records of safety audits, inspections, and incident reports.
Promote a safety-first culture through awareness campaigns and continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct investigations into road accidents and prepare detailed reports.
Stay updated with ADNOC safety standards, local regulations, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
ADNOC-approved Road Safety Coordinator certification or equivalent.
Proven experience in road safety management, preferably within the oil & gas, construction, or transportation sectors.
Knowledge of ADNOC safety standards, local traffic laws, and safety regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and training skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software.
