Job Description :
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with UAE regulations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and oversee budgeting processes, financial forecasts, and variance analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws and regulations, prepare and file tax returns, and coordinate with external auditors during tax audits.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, assess financial performance, and identify areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities within the shipping operations.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate and assist in the annual external audit process, liaising with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure financial integrity.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts, and optimize cash management strategies to meet operational requirements.
• ERP System Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial data processing.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements relevant to the shipping industry in the UAE.
