Roles and Responsibilities:
Review construction plans and prepare detailed quantity take-offs.
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, in collaboration with architects and clients.
Scrutinize and analyze material costs, maintenance costs, and contracts to ensure optimal deals.
Liaise effectively with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Prepare reports, cost analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other project documentation.
Advise managers and clients on project improvements and new strategies.
Monitor material inventories and place orders as needed.
Document design changes and update budgets accordingly.
Travel to various construction sites as required for inspections and meetings.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in construction or quantity surveying.
Experience working on high-rise office buildings and multi-apartment projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Management, or related field.
Strong knowledge of building and construction processes, especially in MEP and Civil domains.
In-depth understanding of construction costs, contracts, and project management.
Valid Bahrain driver’s license.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
