The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee drinks, as well as providing excellent customer service. The role involves ensuring a clean and organized workspace, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and creating a welcoming environment for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve coffee and espresso-based beverages to customers.
Ensure all drinks are prepared according to customer preferences and company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf?, including equipment and workstations.
Take customer orders, handle payments, and provide exceptional customer service.
Stock inventory and assist with product displays.
Handle customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.
Follow food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards.
Assist in opening and closing duties, as required.
Maintain a positive and energetic attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment is a plus.
