Roles and Responsibilities:
Advise and monitor employees maintaining the site to ensure compliance with regulations and company Safety Policy.
Conduct inspections and daily observations at the site to ensure it remains a hazard-free environment.
Verify that injury logs and reports are completed and submitted accurately.
Investigate all accidents and near-misses thoroughly.
Ensure that accident and near-miss reporting procedures are understood and followed; assist with accident investigations.
Communicate safety rules and regulations through toolbox talks and minutes of meetings.
Observe and maintain proper use of PPE, Fire Safety equipment, Fall Arrest Systems, Ladder Safety, Scaffold & Cradle Safety, and Lifting Safety during work operations.
Conduct emergency management exercises through internal workshops, external training sessions, and periodic mock drills.
Perform risk assessments and hazard analyses for each job executed at the site.
Verify the location, activity, and competency of personnel before issuing permits to work (PTW).
Maintain all HSE documents related to the projects, ensuring they are up-to-date and available for references or audits, including internal, external, and ISO audits.
Induct employees on safety policies and procedures by conducting regular awareness programs and meetings.
