Job Title: Assistant Head Chef (Bakery & Pastry)
Responsible For : KITCHEN OPERATIONS We are seeking a male Filipino Assistant Head Chef, currently working at the same level, with a strong focus on baking and pastry preparation from scratch.
MAIN DUTIES:
•Skilled in creating bread, cakes, and desserts without pre-mixes
• Developing recipes, managing ingredients, overseeing kitchen staff, and ensuring the quality and presentation of finished products •Strong sense of confidentiality, especially regarding proprietary recipes and work processes
• Experience in people management; able to lead the main kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef
• Handling desserts preparation and bakery
• Maintaining Cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen
• Following Food Safety procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in baking and pastry production
• Age not more than 40 years old
• Professional, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards
• Good communication skills. English Language is a must.
• Ability to work under pressure with the busy flow of customers.
• Effective team-player with good attention to detail.
• Excellent skills in maintaining cleanliness and personal hygiene standards.
• Must be able to work overtime, as needed.
