The Assistant F&B Manager assists in overseeing the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department, ensuring excellent guest service, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the management team in achieving business objectives. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventories, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the F&B Manager in daily department operations.
Supervise and coordinate activities of food and beverage staff to ensure high standards of service.
Assist in planning menus, promotions, and special events.
Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining service quality and addressing customer complaints promptly.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and controlling costs.
Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with regulations.
Train, motivate, and evaluate team members.
Assist in financial management, including budgeting, sales analysis, and revenue enhancement.
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of F&B outlets.
Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in food and beverage service, with supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of F&B operational procedures and health & safety standards.
Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
