Duties and Responsibilities:
As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:
Conduct analysis and design of offshore/onshore geotechnical structures using geotechnical analysis software such as Plaxis, Slope W, APILE.
Perform design review of engineering packages prepared by others in support of ongoing Capital and Maintain Potential projects
Develop and interpret code and standard requirements for offshore/onshore geotechnical designs
Assess and carry out geotechnical analysis, including offshore and onshore structures
Participate in Engineering Standard development and reviews
Conduct vendor technical assessments for geotechnical commodities
Conduct geotechnical inspections and assessments of existing structures
Support ongoing Innovation/Technology programs and strategic initiatives
Assess new and emerging technologies for civil/geotechnical applications
Act as a professional mentor to developing geotechnical engineers and specialists
Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will have:
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.
Candidate must have a Master’s Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
PhD’s Degree is a plus.
Professional Engineering or Chartered Engineering Certification
Minimum of 20 years of professional engineering design experience
Familiarity with geotechnical design standards
Proficient in geotechnical engineering design software (Plaxis, Slope W, APILE)
Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally
