Senior Accountant
Job Location : United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS or relevant accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements :
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of IFRS or relevant accounting standards.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working in a multinational environment is a plus.
