We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to manage cost planning, estimation, and commercial aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works for high-rise buildings and luxury villa developments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring project profitability through accurate forecasting and effective cost management.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare BOQs (Bills of Quantities), cost estimates, and tender documentation for MEP works.
Evaluate and verify subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Monitor project costs against budgets and prepare monthly cost reports.
Manage and track variations and change orders, ensuring timely submissions.
Review and negotiate MEP subcontractor invoices, claims, and final accounts.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and site engineers to ensure commercial alignment.
Conduct value engineering and recommend cost-effective alternatives.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and contract conditions.
Prepare and review payment applications, and support in cash flow forecasting.
Participate in contract review meetings and procurement strategies.
Assist in contract administration, including pre- and post-award stages.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, RICS, AIQS) is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, project life cycles, and construction methods.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software (e.g., Candy, CostX).
Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting skills.
Familiar with FIDIC and other standard contract forms.
Proven track record in high-rise and villa project delivery.
