We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in high-rise buildings and luxury villa developments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing cost control, budgeting, and commercial aspects of civil construction works throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender documents, and cost plans.
Conduct cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting for civil works.
Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor quotations and contracts.
Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with the approved budget.
Prepare and submit monthly valuations, progress claims, and payment certifications.
Analyze and manage variations, change orders, and claims.
Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and site teams to ensure cost and commercial compliance.
Manage final accounts and project close-out reports.
Support procurement activities and subcontractor selection.
Conduct site measurements and verify quantities on-site as required.
Ensure adherence to contract terms, local regulations, and company standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
Membership or certification with RICS, AIQS, or similar professional body is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and local market rates.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., Candy, CostX, BuildSoft).
Familiarity with FIDIC and other standard forms of contracts.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
