We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Painting QC Inspector to ensure the quality and compliance of painting and surface coating works on our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of coating standards, surface preparation, and inspection techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections of surface preparation, coating application, and curing processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Verify surface cleanliness, moisture levels, and surface profiles before painting.
Monitor and document coating parameters, thickness, adhesion, and appearance.
Ensure that painting materials and equipment meet quality standards.
Identify and report non-conformities, defects, or deviations from specifications.
Review and verify painting procedures and work plans.
Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare detailed inspection reports.
Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and clients to resolve quality issues.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards during painting activities.
Assist in quality audits and inspections as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
Certification in coating inspection (e.g., NACE CIP Level 1 or 2, SSPC certifications) preferred.
Knowledge of surface preparation standards (e.g., SSPC-SP series) and coating application techniques.
Familiarity with coating materials, standards, and testing equipment.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple inspections efficiently.
